Call (352) 450-6122 Same-day response* across Gainesville and Alachua County
Gainesville Rapid Water Damage covers Gainesville and the Alachua County towns around it. The county is about 900 square miles and the drive from the city to the far corners is real, so we are specific about response rather than claiming a uniform arrival time everywhere.
Each town below has its own page, because the water problems are genuinely different. A 1920s house in the Duckpond has a crawlspace and cast iron drains. A 2005 house in Tioga sits on a slab with an attic air handler. High Springs sits in spring country near the Santa Fe River. Those are different jobs, not the same job with the town name swapped.
Towns we serve across Alachua County
Every town below is inside our normal dispatch area. Distance and weather affect timing, and we say what we can actually reach.

Gainesville water damage restoration
The county seat and our primary coverage area, including the university neighborhoods, the historic districts and the newer developments west of Interstate 75.

Alachua water damage restoration
North of the city off US 441, a mix of historic downtown buildings and newer subdivisions on the higher ground toward the ridge.

Newberry water damage restoration
West of Gainesville in the limestone and agricultural belt, where well water and rural drainage change how a loss behaves.

High Springs water damage restoration
Spring country near the Santa Fe River, where a high water table and river-adjacent property drive a different set of problems.

Archer water damage restoration
Southwest of the city, a small rail-history town with older housing stock and rural water service.

Micanopy water damage restoration
Florida's oldest inland town, south past Paynes Prairie, with a historic district full of genuinely old and genuinely fragile buildings.

Hawthorne water damage restoration
East toward the lakes, where Lochloosa and Orange Lake and the surrounding wetlands sit close to the housing.

Waldo water damage restoration
Northeast on the old rail line, a small town where response distance is the honest constraint.

Jonesville and Tioga water damage restoration
The western corridor along Newberry Road, mostly newer slab construction with attic mechanical systems.
What response time actually means here
Same-day response is our standard, and during normal conditions we reach most of the county the day you call. During a countywide storm event, everyone calls at once, and honest scheduling beats an arrival promise nobody can keep. We tell you where you sit in the queue and what to do in the meantime to limit the damage.
Questions people ask
Questions people ask
Do you charge more for the outlying towns?
The assessment is free everywhere in Alachua County. Travel can affect the total on very small jobs at the far edges of the county, and if it does we tell you before any work starts rather than after.
Do you work outside Alachua County?
Sometimes, depending on the job size and crew load. Call and ask. We would rather tell you honestly that another company is closer than take a job we cannot reach in time to matter.
Are you available during a hurricane or tropical storm?
Yes, though during a countywide event the queue is real and we schedule honestly. Inland Alachua County still takes significant water from tropical systems, as the flooding after Hurricane Irma in 2017 showed.
Water still moving? Call now.
Every hour wet material stays wet, the repair gets bigger. Gainesville Rapid Water Damage answers 24/7 and books a free on-site assessment across Gainesville and Alachua County.
